2019 La Vie Pinot Grigio
A significant grape in Alsace, France, this grape takes on more pronounced flavors in the similar, yet different, dry and windy climate of the Texas High Plains. La Vie Estate Pinot Grigio is a salute to our French roots.
Medium yellow in color, this wine is fruity on the nose with aromas of lemon, nectarine and green apple. The smooth flavors start with lemon and move to a longer finish of green apple. This Italian varietal pairs well with light pastas, chicken-asparagus risotto, or Manchego cheese.
2019 Pinot Grigio was stainless steel aged, with normal primary fermentation only. The grapes are from the Steve and Cindy Newsom Vineyards.
