2024 La Vie Sauvignon Blanc
Originating in France, Sauvignon Blanc grapes grow easily in many places. Well known for its crisp acidity, this balance changes from cooler to warmer climates. Flavors can range from florals, to grassy and green vegetables, to tart fruits, to more rounded melon flavors across the climate spectrum.
This medium-bodied wine is gold in color with a bright and bouncy acidity. It’s a product of a hot growing season, bringing forth fully ripened grapes with notes of green apple and juicy bursts of citrus. Pairs well with fresh bright herbs, light meats, white fish and seafood. Try with soft cheeses, ricotta, and crème fraîche. Wonderful with your favorite green vegetables, artichokes, tomatoes, salads, and light pasta. Grapes are from Reddy Vineyards in the Texas High Plains.
