2019 La Vie Moonlight Red
Perfect for walking in the moonlight or sipping on the porch around the fire, this wine was inspired by the sunset and moonlight views on the deck of The Lookout on the La Vie Estate.
This Bordeaux style, medium-bodied red carries spicy undertones of pepper, leather, subtle tobacco, and black currants, with hints of wet gravel. This blend consists of 56% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 19% Malbec. Pair with smoky cheeses, stuffed mushrooms, or goose pate.
2019 Moonlight Red is from Steve and Cindy Newsom Vineyards, 50% stainless steel aged, and 50% aged in neutral French oak barrels. Oak alternatives were used once we blended both portions together. This wine was put through both primary and secondary fermentation.
